Anna McDonald

Anna McDonald

Biographical Info I run a private practice in the Mission district of San Francisco with adults, teens, tweens, and relationships. Primarily, I address issues related to trauma and abuse, including harm reduction and behavioral interventions for high risk behaviors. I also work with young professionals to address challenges they are facing in succeeding or advancing in career, relationships, and other areas of life-- including stress management, increasing positive mood, accessing flow states, and more. I always strive to create a space that is friendly, aware, and affirming of marginalized identities, including sexual and gender identities (LGBTQ+), non-monogamy/polyamory, and kink/BDSM. I am aware of intersectional identities, and work to honor and address the dynamics in the therapy room.
