Short Description My work is informed by a lifelong passion for and commitment to human development. Mindfulness-based stress reduction, meditation, and spiritual practices are important to me both personally and professionally and I am committed to both practicing and pursuing further training in these areas. These practices deepen my own personal growth and development work as well as my work with clients. I come to psychotherapy with a background in business, arts, and teaching as well as parenting and being a family caretaker. I have a master’s degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and have taken advanced training in couples counseling, anxiety, depression, and trauma-informed care. I am trained in the Gottman therapy method. I have also taught classes at Kaiser Permanente on Couples' communication, understanding anxiety, and depression management.

Mindfulness-based stress reduction, meditation, and spiritual practices are important to me both personally and professionally and I am committed to both practicing and pursuing further training in these areas. These practices deepen my own personal growth and development work as well as my work with clients. My Background and Experience I come to psychotherapy with a background in business, arts, and teaching as well as parenting and being a family caretaker. I have a master’s degree in Integral counseling psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies and have taken advanced training in couples counseling, anxiety, depression, and trauma-informed care. I am trained in the Gottman therapy method. I have also taught at Kaiser Permanente on couples communication, understanding anxiety, and depression management. My Approach My approach is based on a wide range of techniques. I can focus on the deep stuff, like exploring what brings purpose and meaning to your life. My work is relational and holistic, focusing on how relationships shape your life and how you can create stronger and more fulfilling ones, too. I also take into consideration what’s happening in the brain, your personality traits, and characteristics, and cognitive-behavioral (CBT) therapeutic interventions that support deepened therapeutic processes. My Values I provide high-level clinical skills supported by the pillars of care, empathy, and understanding. I am dedicated to helping clients integrate their therapeutic growth into their life experiences well beyond the therapy sessions and many years into the future. I deeply value authenticity, creativity, and connection and hope these personal values contribute to the wellbeing of my clients’ lives as well.
