Short Description I own a virtual private practice in San Francisco, with an emphasis on individuals, families, adolescents, and medical professionals. I am currently accepting new clients who reside anywhere in CA. My specialties include: anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use and trauma. I work from the perspectives of: CBT, DBT, EMDR, psychodynamics, mindfulness, harm reduction and self-compassion. I offer: traditional talk therapy, in-person "walk and talk" therapy on the Western edge of San Francisco. Description I work with adults to help resolve issues associated with anxiety, depression, substance use/misuse, attachment, mood disorders, trauma, life transitions, and finding life's passion once again. I welcome every sort of family with the goal of increasing understanding and balance, improving communication and exploring difficult dynamics and issues. I can help with: Exploring and coming to terms with the demands and challenges of new / expecting parenthood, Therapy with adolescents and parents, Learning how to reconnect with your life passion as your children mature and leave the home, Parenting Skills, Assertive Communication, Family therapy to open channels of communication that may have been lost or forgotten. I provide therapy to adolescents and children trying to find their way through difficult family dynamics, peer / school relationships, behavioral issues, low self worth/esteem, poor academic achievement, trauma, issues associated with coming out as GLBTQI, bullying or being bullied, anxiety, depression and substance use use. I can help with: Supporting adolescents and youth to find their voice, Collaboration with additional helpers and providers to maintain a continuum of care, Identifying positive, pleasurable activities to help increase self worth, Play therapy for young children to resolve anxiety, depression and trauma. Parent/child therapy to open channels of communication in a safe environment.
