Short DescriptionI have a strengths-based model, identifying what IS working in your life, increasing insight, and building resilience so you can successfully navigate what isn't working.
Description My focus is where and what you are living, feeling, and aware of right now. We'll make space for you to be where you are without judgement or evaluation. When you identify with your whole self, conditions for wholeness and growth are created. We can examine the past when it impacts your present life. The past can not be undone, yet the way it impacts the present CAN be changed. You can gain awareness of blocks to serenity and success. With awareness comes possibility to cultivate your true self, make new choices and implement healthy changes.I work with couples and individuals. As a former high school teacher, I have an affinity for adolescents and/or their families. I trained in a body-based mindfulness technique called Focusing and have a certificate in Focusing Oriented Art Therapy. Using mindfulness and Art Therapy in combination provides a powerful way through what is troubling you into an enhanced, healthy, life. I have completed a certificate training in Art Therapy for healing trauma. I completed a one year training program in leading groups through The Psychotherapy Institute. I can provide therapy in American Sign Language.
