Achieving Financial Literacy as a Private Practice Therapist

February 21, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

As tax season approaches, join us for a masterclass focused on understanding and improving the financial health of your practice.

About this Event

As a mental healthcare professional dedicated to your own practice, you’re probably more familiar with your session notes than with financial records. As tax season approaches, join Heard Bookkeeping & Tax for a masterclass focused on understanding and improving the financial health of your practice.

You’ll learn the ins and outs of financial reporting, bookkeeping and taxes, and most importantly, gain confidence in all financial aspects of your business.

Through this presentation you will learn…

  • How to better understand bookkeeping, taxes and practice planning
  • How to prepare thoroughly for tax season so you don’t miss deductions
  • How to manage your practice finances with confidence

Our Speaker:

Andrew is a mission-driven entrepreneur, financial accountant and the CEO of a Heard, the financial back-office for therapists in private practice.

Prior to Heard, Andrew worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked as a financial accountant, helped build an internal software incubator, and co-found an affordable sales tax solution for small to medium sized businesses.

When not supporting mental health professionals in private practice, Andrew can be found exploring the nooks and crannies of the Pacific Northwest trail-running, cycling or snowboarding, or at home with his nose in a book or journal.
