The SFCAMFT Board and Conference Committee are excited to present the SFCAMFT Conference to be held Saturday, February 7, 2015! 

Louis J. Cozolino, PhD, will speak at this event. He is Professor of Psychology at Pepperdine University and author of numerous books, including The Neuroscience of Psychotherapy, The Healthy Aging Brain, and The Making of a Therapist.

This day-long workshop will explore the scientific foundations of the healing power of psychotherapy through the lens of interpersonal neurobiology. Research in the fields of attachment, epigenetics, social neuroscience, evolution, and developmental psychology will be applied to the theory, and, especially, the practice of psychotherapy. 

We hope you will attend this exciting event to be held February 7, 2015, 9am – 4pm at the San Francisco Marriott Union Square, 480 Sutter Street at Powell.

The course meets the qualifications for 6 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs, and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and is provided by SFCAMFT (Provider # 1415).

CEUs for psychologists are provided by The Spiritual Competency Resource Center which is co-sponsoring this program and is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. SCRC maintains responsibility for the  program and its content. SCRC is a California Board of Registered Nursing Provider (BRN) and  a Board of Behavioral Sciences Provider (BBS).
